I am glad you are visiting my webpage. Since you are here, you might be seeking support in some area of your life. I am a psychotherapist, trainer, and business consultant.
Let’s see if, where, and how we can meet. I am looking forward to hearing from you.
My name is Agnieszka Wlaszczyk. I am a Gestalt psychotherapist working in the humanistic-experiential approach. I completed a four-year professional study in psychotherapy at the Institute of Integral Gestalt Psychotherapy in Krakow, Poland.
I am currently finalizing my certification process with the European Association for Gestal Therapy (EAGT). I have done over 3000 hours of therapeutic work with clients and patients. I work in the Polish and English languages, with adults, in individual sessions both in-office and online. I regularly have my work supervised by certified Polish and foreign supervisors.
Gestalt therapy is a type of psychotherapy that focuses on self-awareness and living in the present moment. It emphasizes personal responsibility and how we interact with the world around us. Instead of focusing on past events or future worries, Gestalt therapy encourages individuals to stay grounded in their current thoughts, feelings, and experiences. This type of therapy helps people connect their mind, body, and emotions to promote personal growth.
Gestalt therapy offers support and empowerment for individuals who choose to develop their self-awareness and well-being through the skill of full self-regulation. Through the process of exploration and reflection, clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves, their behaviour patterns, and relationships, and learn new ways to cope with challenges, stressors, and difficult emotions. By integrating different aspects of themselves and their experiences, clients can achieve a sense of wholeness and alignment with their authentic self. They also develop healthier and more authentic relationships with others by learning new ways of communication. Gestalt therapy supports clients in embracing change, overcoming obstacles, and realizing their potential for growth and fulfilment.
Gestalt therapy can be helpful for a variety of people dealing with different mental, emotional, and relationship struggles. It’s especially good for those looking for a more relaxed, holistic approach with a therapist who is fully present and supportive. Here are some common issues Gestalt therapy can help with:
Low self-esteem: It promotes self-awareness and acceptance, making it useful for anyone working on self-esteem, identity, or self-image.
Relationship Troubles: Gestalt therapy focuses on how people interact with others, which can help with relationship issues, whether with partners, family, friends, or coworkers.
Anxiety and depression: By becoming more aware of thoughts, feelings, and body sensations, Gestalt therapy can help manage anxiety and depression.
Stress and burnout: It offers tools to help cope with stress, build resilience, and restore balance when life feels overwhelming.
Life changes and crises: Gestalt therapy provides support during big life changes like career shifts, moving, loss, or other major transitions, helping you find new meaning and direction.
Trauma and PTSD: It can be adjusted to help process and heal from traumatic experiences, helping people move forward.
Seeking Fulfiilment: Gestalt therapy encourages living in line with your true self, making it great for anyone looking for more fulfillment and meaning in life.
If you are interested in learning more about Gestalt therapy and want to see if it’s right for you, I invite you to a consultation. I will answer your questions and together we can decide if our work together will help you achieve your goals.
